Payment in full will be collected for all bookings of 2 or 3 nights.Payment in full is required for bookings made with an arrival date less than 30 days from the date of booking.Please check our cancellation policy for information on refunds.
A deposit of £100 will be collected to secure all bookings of 4 or 4+ nights and with an arrival date more than 4 weeks from the date of booking.The full balance becomes due for payment 4 weeks prior to your stay.
Should you need to cancel your booking, and to receive 100% refund of any money paid, we require a 30 day notice period before your check-in date.A 50% refund of any money paid is given for cancellations when 14 days' notice is given. In severe weather and if travelling is not advised, we will transfer any money paid to a future booking. We advise that travel/holiday insurance is taken out to cover for the eventuality of a late cancellation. We guarantee, that in the unlikely event we may need to cancel your booking, a full refund of any money paid will be made.
Poppy Cottage No. 1 has a maximum occupancy of 2, extra occupancy is by special request only. Poppy Cottage No. 2 has a maximum occupancy of up to 5. Extra charges apply to the standard rate in Poppy Cottage No. 2 when the cottage is occupied above 3 people. Notification of extra occupants to Poppy Cottage No. 2 must be made when booking the cottage. If Poppy Cottage No. 2 is occupied above 3 people, without extra occupancy being booked or paid;then we reserve the right to ask you to leave the cottage before the end of your stay and invoice you for the extra costs incurred which will include an administration charge.The Granary has a maximum occupancy of 2.We reserve the right to ask you to leave should the occupancy numbers exceed these stated.Guests will be asked to leave if it has been drawn to our attention that the occupancy levels have exceeded the permitted levels and that the cottages or The Granary are being used for large group gatherings.
Pets are not allowed in either of the cottages or in The Granary
Guests must report any accidents or injuries that occur during their stay to the owners - Steve and Sally Hall. Guest must also report any breakages, spillages or damage caused to equipment and property to the owners that occur during their stay. Upon your arrival please bring to our attention any damage or breakages you may have found to appliances or fixtures and fittings that you believe have occurred, prior to your arrival.We reserve the right to invoice departing guests for any damage to any fixtures and fittings or to the property, that we believe has occurred during their stay.
Smoking is NOT allowed inside either of the cottages or in The Granary. There are designated areas within the gardens of each cottage and The Granary where smoking is allowed.
